Desde os anos 1980, os impostos sobre os mais ricos caíram enquanto a parcela de renda do 1% mais rico cresceu. A promessa de que isso geraria benefícios a todos fracassou: a desigualdade disparou e a concentração de riqueza aumentou no mundo todo.
