Because there are so many new fires everywhere, every single day. Yesterday alone was the YR chat leak, another Venezuelan boat bombing, the Pentagon press pass story & follow up on the million other active stories. I agree with you, but it's not like the press is hiding facts. There's just so much.

He also said it's really NBD bc the detainee can just show their ID & they'll be released ASAP. AND, if the detainee suffers any injuries (physical, emotional or monetary) as a result of said "Kavanaugh Stop", they can always pursue legal action. 'Cause who doesn't have suin' money laying around. 👍

We're calling these "Kavanaugh Stops" bc he's the one that wrote the concurrence on the majority SCOTUS decision saying that it was ok to detain to someone based on their ethnicity, job and the language they are speaking. 1/2

Even if we carry U.S. passports, they surround, handcuff, & ask questions later, even question the legitimacy of our U.S. issued passports. So, it doesn't matter what we present as proof. Harassment or condescending language is targeted at us for the Latino physical traits we can not hide.

I think it does, but it’s angry. My mobility is angry to get out. But it’s not happened yet. I do a certain amount of physical therapy. I did a whole bunch of it at Cedars-Sinai, and I got very close, I think, to walking. That was tantalizing. For insurance reasons, I had to withdraw. And I have a visiting physical therapist now, but I can only really do exercises from my bed, which is pretty pathetic. It’s not going to get me walking, I don’t believe.
