New road signs have been approved by Minister of Transportation and Economic Corridors, Devin Dreeshen.

We didn't need to use the Notwithstanding clause either and a $5.6 million a sole-source contract has been awarded to a private contractor.

FWIW, the notwithstanding clause says that legislatures are empowered to breach certain rights and freedoms.

Not premiers.

Time allocation removes the ability of MLAs to fulfill their constitutional responsibility to Albertans.

Perhaps that's the point.

33. (1) Parliament or the legislature of a province may expressly declare in an Act of Parliament or of the legislature, as the case may be, that the Act or a provision thereof shall operate notwithstanding a provision included in section 2 or sections 7 to 15 of this Charter.
