I feel like today is a good day to remind everyone that just last year Barnaby Joyce called on a crowd of cookers to say “goodbye” to 3 Labor MPs inc the PM by getting ready to “load that magazine” & think of a “bullet” when casting their vote.
And received no penalty or censure.

I am not inured to deal making...thats how a relatively centrist country pushes forward...but there are rare political cycles where the incumbent can just go for it as Howard did, Whitlam did, Hawke/Keating...that time is now...Albo won't face a contest for at least multiple terms

And they don’t know how much time and effort is spent on the bureaucracy of it, and how stupid some of that bureaucracy is. This of course is fixable to a large extent, but I’m not sure it has been.
