Sometimes I lay in bed and think about how my childhood was lived under the surveillance state of patriarchal masculinity. Every show I watched, song I listened to, choosing a bracelet as an arcade win, anything needed a suitable excuse that'd 'defend' ny masculinity.

My MC of the Sad Magical Boys WIP, Devontae Williams, is a 21 year old Black trans man who plays the violin! He's a music major in college, and is kind of a nervous nellie.

He gets awakened as a magical boy by a mysterious pink haired woman, which makes his anxiety worse lmao.

Usually, yes.

I think is something like the ninth time they've claimed the rapture was coming and oops, still here and still an asshole.

If I was more of a mean creature, I'd try to make a living off of pushing the idea that we're actually in Hell already and that's why none of the Raptures...do.
