I also know most people stop before Sir Corbyn enters a custody battle with the Queen over a homeless child.

If you view JttW from this perspective, the early books being about Sun makes sense. We start as base instinct, driven by a fear of death as he was. Each immortality is an allegory for how we cope. His rebellion is a childish tantrum, which ends when he is humbled into adulthood.

Rereading JttW and thinking about the allegory which gets lost in so most adaptations. It's about a person struggling to find harmony between the chaos of their morality (Tripitaka), base instincts (Wukong), strength of will (Dragon), weakness of body (Sandy) and weakness of spirit (Pigsy).

Hey y'all this is a kickstarter y'all should be raving about more. From what I've read it's an epic cross between the Dragonologist series and Bartimaeus Triology. Joanna is just an awesome, sweet person and a great writer!

Not entirely happy with it sadly. I just really worry that this affects the quality of what I end up giving people. I haven't gotten much feedback or response from the first story yet so it has me thinking I could be doing better somehow.

#Raven+Bear has two protagonists, Sir Corbyn and Ata. In each short story, they explore a different kingdom of Cambria. The collection will cover years of their lives with both characters growing throughout. The Knightbane's Prize, which introduces them, is up on youtube for free.

Been attempting to record for a Proof Heraldic teaser. However, I've been struggling with fainting and chronic pain today. I did get the intro and a bit of writing for another story done but damn it's tough to keep going rn.
