We are the first generation that has sufficient resources to put a roof over every head, a meal on every table, to provide education and basic health care to all, and to care for the planet. Yet we don't. You have to ask what is wrong with us?

Republicans have turned the USA into the kind of police state that Republicans always warned you America would become if you didn't vote for Republicans.

Miller is just one of several puppet-masters who are running their own agendas.

Vought is another, as is Leonard Leo.

My hope is that the cracks in their different agendas will be found or manifest themselves as they get over-confident.

It is insane to contemplate that when we now see Trump on TV, that's him at his best. That's him after the staff have applied his makeup, made sure he has fresh underwear and given him whatever meds he needs to stay awake for a few minutes...

...and he still can't complete two consecutive sentences

I'm not religious but one thing I am certain of is that if there is a God then Mike Johnson is going to burn in hell because he is evil.

You don't need to believe in God to recognize evil.

Prediction:

1. Johnson will have to call Congress back to Washington
2. He will have to swear in Adelita Grijalva
3. Massie will be able to force the vote on the Epstein files
4. Trump will invoke the insurrection act to put the USA in a state of war to stop the release

It is impossible to insult the intelligence of Republican voters more that Republican politicians do.

I have given up trying.

Their complaints that Dems oppose the “rural hospital fund” are so hilarious.

Kind of like: “I’m going to burn down your house and give you a chocolate chip cookie instead.”

“That sounds terrible.”

“What you don’t like chocolate chip cookies!?”

I hate to say "Actually" but it's pretty clear the slope on all those lines increase after 2020.

People often forget that the Republican goal is to end the Federal government.

They resent the 12 days they had to work.

$47. And that’s if the government isn’t lying about the interest rate. Plus, they will have to prove she intentionally schemed to swindle $47 from the bank - as opposed to just not knowing the difference between a second home and an investment property. Good luck, Lindsay.

To be fair that's - ummm - just a moment - $14,100 over the full 25-year span of an average mortgage.

I mean - it's not a free Jumbo jet - but it's not nothing.

Sadly, as public funding for the arts disappears, the dependency on corporate and wealthy donor fundraising means that proactively appeasing fascism and trashing the rights of women now appears to be on the agenda. #NHPolitics www.seacoastonline.com/story/news/l...

100% agree. I believe that people earning over a certain amount, or handling contracts over a certain value should be subject to greater liability.

The punishment should be jail time, not fines. The cost of corporate corruption is currently just an accounting line item
