I was raised as a Reformed Jew. In my 20s, I also considered myself a Christian. And then I had a long conversation with a devout Christian who refused to acknowledge that animals have souls and used the Bible to back up his beliefs. I’ve been an atheist ever since. They can all keep their myths.

I use Jardiance. My insurance won’t cover any of the weight loss shots or a constant glucose meter because I don’t need insulin. And my Jardiance costs around $40/month. I have Cigna instance and they suck.

With the temps dropping the shawl is moving from the blue/teal to green/gold. Soon it will be gold/zinnia/light of love. My transitions are backwards this year (compared to color temps).

Am trying to get serious about getting some of this weight off without the weight loss shots that would most likely help but my insurance refuses to cover because I’m not sick enough. Tried a couple newer apps and ended up going back to My Fitness Pal. Sigh. This is hard.

Man, this Monday is mondaying hard. It’s a “minor” holiday in the US (was Columbus Day, is now Indigenous Peoples’ Day*) so we have the option to work (get a floating holiday) or have the day off. I’m working. Thank fuck it’s quiet today cause I’m completely unfocused.
