The Portland Mayor along with those untrustworthy fire fighters put out all the “riot” fires & magically turned chaos into clear streets w/people just living their lives. Noem has evidence from the helicopters flown above but don’t ask for proof as it’s classified.

TY for sharing. It frustrates me when we play into the us vs. them narrative w/generalizations of those deserving of consequence. As a Texan, I’m often on the receiving end despite us being diverse & deprived fair elections. Either way, the biases play into division & are counterproductive.

B/c assumptions drive me up the wall & there are a ton of assumptions in these comments, here’s a study of veterans w/a majority age range of 35-64. In this study, they were mostly evenly split, similarly to the general population. Also, certain branches of the military are extremely diverse.

Despite both myself & my maternal GM majoring in psych, my parents were anti therapy forever. 2-3 yrs ago, our communication began improving & the benefit became too obvious for them to ignore.

I so wish our country cared about mental health. I know I’m lucky here but wish I’d had access sooner.

I still recall 1 really terrible wk my Dad had at work from my teen yrs. Dot com bust. Corp had him facilitate direct lay offs w/in his dept. That wk, he had 2 minor wrecks, 1 w/a rental rear ending my mom’s car. Where he struggled w/empathy & internalized guilt, these monsters exhibit joy.

I was only diagnosed 4 yrs ago. Fell through every crack in gifted child w/inattentive ADHD but my diagnosis was a godsend. I was just telling my husband its ADHD Awareness Month which is perfect b/c my bday is Sunday & Halloween & Diwali are my 2 favorite holidays. Oct is the best. 🩷

When I was 8, my Brit Indian family moved to TX & for the 1st time, I dealt w/blatant racism. Since there were few S. Asians (& on top of genocide, Columbus was an idiot) I reg had to specify my ethnicity w/India. Adding insult to injury, my bday is Oct 12th.

It’s Indigenous Peoples Day. Fuck CC.

This Oct, I’m celebrating my bday, Halloween, & Diwali. My city also has some rad festivals, my favorite of which is for Dia De Los Muertos.

It’s also ADHD Awareness Month which I may or may not have already known.😉 I was diagnosed 4 yrs ago & the clarity I gained w/my diagnosis was life changing.

Someone said that to him yesterday when he claimed this was a December fight, and the journalist said but open enrollment is Nov 1. He tried to play it off like they had plenty of time before premiums went up but you could tell he was blindsided by that comment
