And yes I let my love of schadenfreude get the better of me when some MAGAs started feeling the FO part of FAFO when Trump’s policies started hurting them, that was wrong.

BUT 2024 was my last vote in an American election, and I voted for them NOT to lose their farms, and jobs, so don’t blame me.

I loved Twilight Zone. When I was a kid growing up in Alberta in the 80s, we got channels from Spokane via cable.

Sunday afternoon one of the channels (KREM I think) had a double header of Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits, that I watched religiously.

On this day in 1923, Howie Meeker was born in Kitchener.
As an NHL player, he won the Calder and four Stanley Cups. He later ran several hockey schools and was a commentator for Hockey Night in Canada. He served in Parliament from 1953 to 1955. He is in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
