The destruction of the East Wing really bums me out in a way that I wasn't expecting.

I guess some of it is about the destruction of history. But I think it's mostly about the feeling of helplessness. There's nothing we can do to stop him.

Nobody is coming to save us. And it's going to get worse.

Schools should be teaching phonics. Phonics is the code to being a strong reader, but they do not.

Hooked on phonics works for kids cuz it *actually* teaches u how to read.

If you have a child, get them hooked on phonics. I am SO serious.

You could have gotten people interested into running in local elections. You also could have gotten people to be interested in different community centers. There's so many things that y'all could have done instead of just complaining online to feed your ego.

People are complaining about how the protest does nothing.When reality, the protest is just a stepping stone. Its the perfect time to start informing and build community.

Right now we need to start focusing on things we can do to reverse and improve. That means recruiting lawyers, community leaders, and others to come up with policies that can help us and protect us in decades to come.

My slightly hot political take is that not every politician needs to be super charismatic and engaging. It's okay if some of them are just boring as fuck, but still able to get the job done and support their district.
