This simply blows my mind. Evil. The black-and-yellow device has been used on multiple detainees this year, according to the Associated Press. The Department of Homeland Security has previously raised concerns about its safety, warning that the restraints could lead to fatal outcomes.

I witnessed the ethos of bullies cultivated by policing. Had police refuse to help stalked, harassed friends. I knew there was no point calling them when I was attacked. Concurrent was the Starlight Tours police murders.

I have only returned to that town once, but that was at 03h00 to rescue an acquaintance who had been kicked out for being queer. Days before Christians wrapped themselves up in their benevolence and good will. -30C weather. His late night exile was otherwise a death sentence. /4

In school, I lived rurally. Frequently appalled by the most casual bigotry. A popular blond girl complained of being “Jew’d.” I told a buddy about it and he was: «Why do you care? Are you Jewish?»

My family is multicultural, multiethnic. Most of us pass for cishet wypipo. So whilst we rarely get slurs thrown our way, we fucking hear them.
