Politico is reporting Trump will name Dr. Ladapo of Florida to a senior spot, likely Surgeon General or Assistant HHS.

This would be a horrifying pick for trans people. He's responsible for Florida's adult trans ban, and works with SEGM/Anti-trans global movement.

He's also an ardent anti-vaxxer.

I’m a big military aircraft guy. Also maps are totally my thing. Definitely how my own AuDHD shows up.

Genuinely tho I was just saying military aircraft are a lot easier to ID. Blackhawks are loud as hell by comparison to any typical police helicopter bc the latter have noise restrictions.

A Blackhawk looks/sounds nothing like a civilian life flight helicopter, but fair.

If you’re the type of person whose autism doesn’t manifest in a deep interest in identifying helicopters, definitely don’t do what you definitely already shouldn’t do.

Don’t do this standing on the balcony of your home or job, or as a solo or small group of protestors.

The reason Hong Kong protestors got away w this is bc a thousand people doing it in black bloc made individuals hard to ID. Also they wore gloves and dropped them if caught.

Capitalism demands infinite growth, migrants are cheap. Deportation, homelessness, healthcare, are all used to compel all workers.

Can’t solve this under capitalism.

@govpritzker.illinois.gov needs to get off his ass, tell his head of state police the whole force needs to IMPEDE ICE from conducting their raids, and if he won't follow orders he'll be fired and replaced with someone who will do it.

Happening now: we're at the Broadview ICE facility outside Chicago.

CCSO + Broadview police are telling protesters + press they can't stand on the west side of 25th Street for any reason.

We asked what the precise public safety issue is. They just said they're anticipating cars coming through.

I don't think people understand that there's no political, legal, or electoral action that will stop ICE from continuing unabated for the next 3 years. None.

Standing around yelling at them isn't going to cut it either.

There is only physical compulsion. Fight or flight.
