Okay, so here’s where I was the last couple days. Meat Cove!

The view from my patio: looking out over Meat Cove Beach (dotted with cairns and bits of wood) with sloping rock faces. Pale orange of sunrise glowing from behind the furthest outcrop.

Trailer patio on the right. Slopes and a mountain covered with green, orange, red and brown leaves centre and left.

From the other end of the campground, the rocks from the first photo are more distant, a craggier outcrop now in view with a Canadian flag and someone’s white camper. In case you’re new to these pics, the ocean is on the left.

The opulent front entrance of what was originally the Northampton National Bank with a finely detailed stone carved medallion and cornucopia designs over the door and carved bracket supports on either side. Behind the medallion there is an arched transom window. Above the window there is a carved lion head with the words: "Northampton National Bank" above and carved Dental details and large bracket supports on either side. In the foreground there are two large stone carved pots on either side of the door.
