Fuller Lake arena is closed due to a potential gas leak. Emergency crews are on site. User group bookings & drop in programs are cancelled including:

3 North Cowichan residents were removed from the Town Hall in North Cowichan hosted by newly elected Conservative MP Jeff Kibble this past weekend. This public town hall event also had Pierre Poilievre speaking. Kibble/PP had the RCMP remove the ladies because of their t-shirts & nothing else.

Its not that the media is not covering what is happening, but it does feel like the military occupation of an American city should be treated as a national crisis.

Re-upping this column because the idea seems to be gaining traction. But I think I didn't go far enough in this: the government should obviously be deleting its accounts so as to not have their tweets appear next to CSAM. But it should also be pursuing charges against X and banning it in Canada.
It's well past time for Canadian government officials to get off of X, @jameswsthomson.com writes. This latest — disgusting — incident is just one more reason.
