Was out yesterday to get coffee with a friend by bike, we discovered some pretty good riding north of Empire. On the return we hit the trail heading south beside Pilot Butte Canal…which would make a great MUP! 🤞that this is on the radar of those designing routes.

You have me wondering if western juniper would also be suitable for pencils! Its range has expanded and people in my neck of the woods often complain and call them a “trash tree” (which I think is harsh…) when they’re in the wrong place.
