Mr China coming in hard with the first of the traditional and *stunning* looks. There's just the right element of cosplay to the look, the colours are stunning and we love a weapon as a prop in Mister Global (fnar). Although the shoe looks oddly clunky. Minor quibble though.

Oh, correction, there was a brief period for a couple months in 2023.

But given current anti-trans policies and practices and hate happening federally, and my age, I can't foresee ever being back in federal service.

Which is unfortunate, that was a major priority in my professional choices.

It never particularly affected my activities. But now I might need to give that some more thought and do some stuff, just because I can 😆

We* may be biased, but the East River watershed is an amazing living laboratory for interdisciplinary distributed sensing. Researchers have come together from all over to collect water samples, do distributed temperature sensing studies, fly thermal IR drone surveys, and much, much more.

I rarely drive anything with cameras, & it's a big switch to rely on them. And for some reason the other day, I was realizing suddenly that there's a whole swath of people that have only ever learned how to drive using the cameras & don't have those other skills or habits of how to physically look.
