Also it’s extremely possible to feel upset, anger, even shock without being SURPRISED. A strong emotion is not an indication that something was unknown or unpredictable. Anyone who knows how emotions work can understand that.

Oh gosh if I was able to correctly assess if people around me thought I was an asshole I’d have an easier life 😅 but I know from my perspective when someone is confident and knows they’re hot and says so, my thought is never “wow they’re an asshole”, it’s “fuck yeah!!!!!!!!l so I’m going off of that
