If anyone knows a way out of this conundrum, I'm all ears.
But until then, I just don't see a clean recovery from all of this. Like, there's got to be something that'll wake these folks up (Reconstruction 2.0?), but how and what is a mystery to me rn... (3/2)

of what's going on re: ICE, Israel, etc. (though some/many/most certainly do), but because they can't see how a Dem *isn't* a worse alternative to ^^^. To be clear, I would argue that it's not really possible to be worse, but these aren't rational/principled people were talking about here... (2/2)

Something worth considering -- regardless of how bad things are right now (see *everything*), I can't shake the feeling that, come our next election cycle -- assuming we have one, that is -- US Republican voters will vote R, just as they always have. And not because they necessarily approve (1/2)
