What’s especially galling about these many of the CDC firings is these are technical positions, not political ones, yet there has been (and won’t be) any policy-based explanation, even a nonsensical one, from Kennedy et alia as to why they were fired. Impeach Kennedy. Impeach him now.

I think we shouldn't judge past our time is overstated. I guarantee he had contemporaries who thought this reprehensible. Although a minority, they won the argument & their belief is now the consensus. There's always choice.

The Office of Special Education. The CDC on-the-ground operations. Attacking vaccines.

District court judges are trying to preserve their place in the legal system. They're the fact-finders & the Court is ignoring/rewriting facts. They're supposed to apply the law, which the Court is just making up on the fly. This is lawless & some judges fear/resent being forced into complicity.

What drives me nuts about this dialogue: diversity and inclusion training was a corporate response to the statutory requirements civil rights laws. None of these laws have been repealed by Congress. Congress can pass the laws under Section 5 of the 14th Amendment, which has also not been repealed.
