I agree with Ross Greer, SNP should be working with the Scottish Greens towards an indy majority in parliament, and a clear mandate for independence and “help people in the here and now.”
Perhaps John Swinney could’ve used his ‘secret plan’ when Starmer again refused to accept Scotland’s vote?

John Swinney's independence strategy, which requires the party to return a majority of MSPs at the Holvrood 2026 election, was backed by SNP members at the party's conference in Aberdeen at the weekend.
The First Minister has said that only an SN majority would be a mandate for an independence referendum.
However, Ross Greer hit back and insisted that a vote for the
Scottish Greens is also a vote for independence.
"Support for Scottish independence is bigger than any one party, and it is totally counterproductive for the SNP to suggest otherwise." he said.
"Every vote for the Scottish Greens is a vote for an independent Scotland in the European Union.
And every poll shows that those
Green votes will make the difference between a pro or anti-independence majoritv.
"In undermining that, the SNP are putting their own party interests ahead of the independence cause.
"The election of a majority of pro-independence MSPs is a clear mandate for Scotland to choose

"Any move away from that just sets up needless barriers and plays into Westminster's hands."
