Today I said goodbye to my dear sweet Gorp/Blade. For 10-plus years he was my best friend and faithful companion. He was dumb as hell but he loved with all the heft and earnestness in the world. He went out doing what he loved most: eating and falling asleep.

I love you, my sweet summer child.
