Flicking through some of the most joyful Concept Cat raps/songs on YouTube. Such a fun, engaging way to develop vocab! I can see this being a really useful approach for some of my gestalt language processors too (esp those at Stage 3 & beyond). Definitely worth checking out! @wordaware.bsky.social

Still completely addicted to crocheting so I thought I’d make Paddington bear (& some of his many outfits!) for my granddaughter’s 3rd birthday. Really pleased with how these turned out 💜

Highly recommend this book for anyone working with children/YP who don’t do well with ‘demands’ - it’s also full of simple examples of how to put the strategies into practice in everyday contexts (plus it’s only £7:50 on Amazon!)

Finishing off my very first crotchet blanket but I can’t decide whether to keep the edge straight or continue with the bobbles? Do the final row in olive green or cream? Are there other/better options that I haven’t even thought of?! Any suggestions?

Excellent advice!
I’ve quit telling people that I disagree with them. Instead, I now say, “I’m gonna have to agree with myself on this one.” It’s self-positive, non-confrontational, and just weird enough to end the conversation.

I'm writing some materials for parents and I'd really like to include your wisdom (anonymously if you'd prefer)
