You can't see DLD, and so even when things look OK from the outside, you won't know how hard people with DLD are working.
Make it easier by knowing about DLD and using strategies such as these:

Everyone gets a bit stuck on words some of the time, but for people with DLD (Developmental Language Disorder) this happens a lot more frequently.
But we at RADLD think that people with DLD have lots to say, & so we are working to amplify their voices.

RADLD have a really handy calculator on their website which helps yo to work out how many children in a school or people in a town are likely to have DLD. It's an eye opener.
