When I was struggling through a long stretch of burnout before the pandemic, a counselor suggested trying to remember something that had made me happy in the past - a hobby, a band, whatever - and digging back into that, no matter how silly. Feels like good advice to try to return to now.

ParaNorman is almost perfect. Only problem is the "lesson" to quiet the witch's ghost. It's inherently problematic to tell the abused it's their job to forgive/turn the other cheek/be the bigger person. Especially since IRL, most abusers do not change their behavior.

Several times I've had to resort to copying the text into a document in order to bake, which is just ridiculous. It's like 2005 all over again. 🤣🤣🤣

At first I only noticed it on Mental Floss, but now it's failing to block on recipe blogs and this is a major thing I use it for. Online recipes are virtually unusable without blocking all the intrusive ads that literally stop you from scrolling or being able to read the directions.

My mobile adblocking browser is failing to block ads on more and more sites, and it's really irritating. It's not an issue of updates; in fact I rolled back several months' worth of updates to restore functionality that had been deliberately dropped. 🙄
