Was just at a neighborhood school at dismissal. Hundreds of people with whistles surrounding the school and stationed down every block making sure ICE doesn’t snatch anyone. The same is happening at all the schools around here. I love my neighborhood and I love Chicago.

My mistake, implementation of medicare took only a single year after LBJ signed the bill establishing it into law.

Setting up medicare took two years. The our lands and waters where unrecognizably disgusting only 30ish years ago before the establishment of the EPA. We have done more with less before and we can again, if we decide we really want to.

Especially after he's changed the Department of Defence into the Department if Warcrimes, complete with firing the top JAG officials. Also if Trump's regime doesn't have the stomach to slug it out with the Houthi's I really question how all-in they'll be in toppling Maduro if things get hairy.

Yeah, this is not good. Many of these are just going to be old people who just forgot about or didn't understand the paperwork and who've lived in Latvia much of if not their whole lives and have no other home.
