My main lesson from YouTube is to do my best not to associate quality with viewcount. A great video can flop as easily as a mid one can succeed. Way too easy to fall into blaming yourself as a creator. "What am I doing wrong?" Often, nothing. Obviously this is easier said than done though.

I feel similar. Every new video feels like I'm interviewing for a job I technically already have. Doesn't help that, beyond the everchanging algorithm, YouTube has been putting in new policies that are throttling view counts. My Wes video flopped harder than anything I've done in a long time.

I feel similarily. I think the fact that the film is basically also the pilot to a major media franchise helps explain it. Really just a sliver of the world.

It’s partly why Sergio is most people’s favorite character in this movie. He does an enormous amount of work to protect his community during a harrowing and difficult time, while putting up a half-front of a jolly karate instructor with a fondness for Modelo beer. He’s the model.
