I am absolutely in love with these. Transformers is at it's best when it comes up with wild new ideas and it's hard to imagine something more out of the box than Optimus Prime as an Ox and cart. Incredible. More of this TF's from different time periods please!

Jay will be signing in the Vendor’s room Saturday at noon. He’ll be on the Poor Coping Skills panel on Saturday at 7:00pm. He’ll be moderating the Bam, POW, & Thwack your Way into Comics Panel Sunday at 10am.

The writer of this RINGO NOM’D INDIE COMIC (and a very dear friend of mine) is a Syrian Refugee who has been through more continuous hardships than I have space to list here; constantly navigating visa applications, unstable living conditions, predatory landlords (limited options as a refugee).

Anas just wants to make comics and live a normal life like what so many of us take for granted. Backing this campaign will help Anas to take the next step toward freedom and autonomy, helping to fund a move to another country with more stable employment options. This is truly one of the most important comics purchases you will ever make.

Middle Eastern and North African comics creators are some of the most underrepresented in the comics industry of the western world. Anas isn’t running a GoFundMe to support this move, and is not asking for charity. Jim Lee openly disparaging AI in no way guarantees anything, no one knows what the future of AI is and no one knows who will be in charge at DC Comics down the line. But I think it's important that a popular artist publicly shot AI down. Fans and artists ignorant of or using AI need to hear this.
