Sacramento's semi-arid climate has done a fantastic job of preserving the Spiders, and largely rust-free. The Coupes, for whatever reason fared less well.

My usual automotive luck is:
Lust after open car.
Own several versions of the better closed car.
The 124 Sport was easier to get than the Spider, and a much better touring machine. Sadly, the tinworm has made dust of these lovelies.
