I recently started wearing a wrist watch again that I got when I was a teenager and today the Starbucks barista said it was cute and "vintage" and I crumbled to dust before her eyes.

This is entirely true on so many levels I don't think I could possibly detail it exhaustively, but you really can't oppose trans people's human rights and still have freedom of expression and bodily autonomy, the idea that people are entitled to self determination goes right out the window....

My parents are in the UK on vacation and 1) stopped at a candy store and 2) visited the museum. My mom sent photos of the candy machine and some mummies, but her phone sent them in the wrong order.

I would not be surprised if there were/are candies made of mummies but I dunno how good they'd smell.

Oh my GOD there's a Folio Society edition of Neil Price's "The Children of Ash and Elm" and I WANT IT.

If I'm being totally honest tho, it was kind of an "eh" show in terms of sales. I barely made my table. The last time I tabled at SPX was 9 years ago and I did much better, so I dunno if my location was iffy or people are (understandably) less free with their cash or something else entirely.
