Every time I play this song I recall the first time I heard it driving around running some errands on a Saturday afternoon and Bill DeVille played it on the Current. It was a "Who the heck is this?" moment. Love, love this song (the video is fun too).

I can't recall the year but my last year at LC Webster, 6th grade was the year after Gladstone closed so we had a bunch of new classmates from Gladstone.

Sounds about right. I went to LC Webster Elementary and recall buying them through the school. Moms were just happy to not have their kids around for an afternoon in the summer.
