The East Wing was built in 1902 & rebuilt in 1942, long after asbestos was used as a fire retardant. So, I’m sure the White House took steps to prevent a known carcinogen from entering the air during the current willy-nilly demolition.

Imagine if in another country the president’s masked army racially profiled in opposition areas as he enriches himself (even raiding the treasury), oligarchs renovated a massive ballroom for him, and his unofficial top advisor said he won’t leave.
