McLaren truly can not afford to not prioritise the championship leader rn.
and I know PIA has been a bit ass but I wonder how much of that is psychological from watching VER close up and not getting the full support of the team.

Imagine watching this race and not thinking Charles Leclerc can win a world championship with a proper car over a full year. Superb.

P3 considering he had the higher deg tyre in the first stint and constantly off line defending as well. Superb.

And a huge assist to the outstanding Max as well.

Perfect weekend for Max Verstappen, and he claws more points in the championship!

Norris second. Leclerc third, he was BRILLIANT. My driver of the race. Hamilton fourth, really good job too, Piastri "only" P5, Russell, Tsunoda (gg), Hulkenberg, Bearman and Alonso in the points.

Nicolo Bulega won the final race at Jerez, but congrats to Toprak Razgatlioglu - three times Superbike champion before he finally makes his move to MotoGP!

Also I just realized Toprak and Nicolo are born 16 October, just like Leclerc lol

I know Mclaren can't drive for Oscar but they really need to start helping him. He has to be their full priority if they want to win this wdc. Mathematically, Max in a worse position versus Oscar than he is versus Lando and Mclaren needs to start taking that seriously

Leclerc was only 0.006s off a front row start. Considering he spun at the end of his first Q3 run, that was an impressive recovery. Upset about the end to his lap: "Fuck's sake. It's a shame for the traffic." #F1 #USGP

huge shoutout to the team for clearly figuring out a good setup to make this car good enough for P3 and P5. they don’t get enough credit this season for the adjustments they’ve made with a car that is sometimes in No Man’s Land. really clutch stuff
