California condor range expanding into the Bay Area and Santa Cruz Mountains, further south into Santa Barbara County too. 🪶 www.mercurynews.com/2025/10/20/f...
-hugs- always, my friend.
The only better thing is when you see something and you think "I should repost that so So-and-So sees it."

And then you realise that So-and-So is the one who reposted it in the first place. #IKnowMyPeeps
It hit the b? IT'S SPREADING!!
Different type of potato?

Some potatoes are great for mashing, others are better for boiling/roasting.
Thank you, Hertz, for asking how my pick-up experience went.

I have not yet picked up the car.

My 97yo grandmother died over the weekend, to celebrate her life I'd like to share a story that is probably one of the fondest memories of an amazing woman who grew up on a dairy farm in the upper peninsula of Michigan 🧵
Because sometimes people are jerks and hiding their replies will prevent innocent readers from having their day ruined.

I had a guy make inappropriate sexual comments on one of my posts a bit ago. He's a nice guy having a bad time of things, so I didn't block him. But no one else needs to see that.
Berry fougasse with almond paste (that I made), olallieberries (that I picked), and masala chai syrup (that I also made). And nutmeg.

They're also huge. I need to make smaller ones! Well, maybe I'll contribute to the camp host's breakfast too or something.
The traditional camping breakfast has been made.
🤦‍♀️ Convenience is great, but save yourself the fees, save the hotel the fees, do it the easy way.
They tend to be great as long as things go well. But the slightest problem and everything goes backside over teakettle.

I still use them for informational purposes but I try not to actually book with them if I can do so on the hotel's own website.
Oh yeah.

"Your mammogram shows something concerning and you need a new, even more painful exam. In a few weeks."

"Nope, nothing different here. Dunno why they sent you."
Tiny home villages seem like such an obvious solution to so many of the problems with homelessness, even more so if there are trained "camp hosts" who can help or provide further resources.

It boggles my mind that people are against this concept.
Make it 10% and I'm down with this.
A company's CEO and all board members should automatically be fined 1% of any fine incurred by the company. This would be in addition to the company's fine. They are, after all, in charge. So they should be directly punished.
Cycles will cycle and we will someday be rid of the people doing this.

But we've lost our credibility, and I don't know how we get that back. Not just our reputation, but basic credibility. Gone.
