I owed a friend £22.91 for an Uber.
I transferred them £22.19 by accident.
They never brought it up.
Nobody would bring up 72p.
I did it on purpose.
I've been doing it for years.
Every time have to transter someone money, i
"accidentally" leave off a bit.
I call it the Plausible Deniability Typo.
£24.37 instead of £24.73.
£9.38 instead of £9.83.
£3.46 instead of £3.64.
Sometimes if I'm feeling really risky, I'll do £18.54 instead of £19.54.
They'd look like a complete tool to quibble over this.
Instead, they are a tool in a different way.
A tool for me to get to the top.
l've probably made £100 over 5 years.

This is super cool and love the Star Wars cantina aesthetic as much as anyone, but I can understand why this would not make for a pleasant airport experience. You’ve just spent 7 hours in a dark metal cylinder with 200 strangers, maybe low ceilings and brutalist seating aren’t the welcome you need.

The least shocking headline ever for anyone who’s ever driven an EV. On a positive note, I had a chat with some folks from Fastned last week and they mentioned that they consciously keep their charging parks smaller and growth limited to ensure they can maintain quality.

So some CPOs do get it.

The Flaminia coupé is one of the most beautiful cars ever designed. The K coupé is…not. Although I still appreciate the clean lines and sharp edges, the awkward proportions let it down.

The last place I lived in Philadelphia had started to open my eyes. The neighborhood was walkable and the train to the center was close by and heavily used. But so was the car.

I was already frustrated with having to drive instead of wanting to drive, as well as the traffic nightmares of US suburbs
