This car is brilliant.

But I want an awd G80 wagon with a Hyundai or Kia badge.

A little smaller and cheaper would go a long way.
You've probably already read a bit about production possibilities for the G90 Wingback, but if not, I've also written up a piece from what Mr. Donckerwolke told the press during a roundtable I was in.

Targa tops, widebody and still a LS3... I didn't mention it on my V8 thread but this is a veeeery interesting one vs Z06 too.
C6 is the best looking gen 'vette.
As a C4 owner, the C6 Grand Sport tops my list

Buying more C9 incandescent Christmas lights bc I detest the soulless LED strings I just hung on my home.

Found Brightline’s new slogan.
Always look both ways at railroad crossings!

As the old proverb goes: “Once people find out you collect model trains, you inherit their unwanted model trains.”

A few takeaways:
- That many people still use Snap?
- How many “users” are actually bots?
- It’s not on the list, so never mention Mastodon again.
Pew has a new poll out about social media use in 2025.

Young people use Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit a lot. Facebook has peaked.

Bluesky’s user base is tiny (though slightly larger than that of "TruthSocial").
Americans’ Social Media Use 2025
YouTube remains the most popular, but adults are increasingly using Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and Reddit. Use of some platforms varies by age, gender, and race and ethnicity.

They say a man should always dress for the job he wants.
So why am I dressed up like a pirate in this restaurant?
It's all because some hacker stole my identity. Now I'm in here every evening serving chowder and iced tea.

Shoulda gone to freeeee credit, report dot com.

I feel like every GenXer I know was affected by Heavy Metal.

Can we also appreciate how the B-17 segment in this film directly inspired the creators of Call of Duty Zombies?
This was already transformative experience to young 1980s me.

Xbox would've won the console wars had they followed the 2007 YouTube prediction videos.

I still want an Xbox 720 and Xbox 180 Portable.

This and the 05/06 Ford GT are the best “modern” takes on an old car.

Are there any others in that class?

QOTD: What’s the best “free” promotional item you’ve ever gotten.

This Bluetooth speaker came with a phone upgrade when I was still on my mother’s plan in like 2010. 15 years on, I still use it.

I was thinking about Twitter the other day. Even in its prime (2014-2016 imo), a lot of the experience was textually jousting, dunking on the uninformed, and being a dick for clicks. It was toxic.

There was good. It was cool consuming global moments live. But Elon shattered the communities we built
Just in case you were looking for yet another reason to not use Twitter.
X has changed their policy and now you can see where the accounts are based.

The Dodge Slingshot

A Smart Roadster for the USDM that never was.

I was thinking about how this could work as a modern car. I propose the Fiata's cousin - An ND MX5 with a HO Hurricane I6 crammed under the hood, plus some hints of Viper styling.

I’ve been playing with the ZR1X configurator for a bit.

The E-Ray is still my favorite C8 trim.

Dear Automakers,

Stop putting paddle shifters on everything. Especially vehicles with CVTs.

Thanks,

I want to do Route 66 in its entirety with my son once he’s old enough.

Key West to Prudhoe Bay would be neat, too.

I’ve listened to “Wheels on the Bus” a lot since becoming a father.

It’s always visually depicted as a school bus, but the lyrics imply it’s a city bus.

American unfamiliarity with public transport starts early. We must address it.

For the children.

Spending part of my Saturday making an appearance at my brother in law’s, best friend’s, daughter’s 5th birthday party bc my wife says “they’d like to see me.”

This feels like a standup bit about marriage.

Anyone else have that one friend in 2011 who liked Mumford and Sons way too much, so now you hate all “stomp, clap, hey” indie music?

I won an auction lot to get one item I wanted and sold everything else on Marketplace.

Turns out I could’ve tripled my money on two of the items I sold, but I didn’t know what they were.

Oops.
