at some point I really think there needs to be some sort of large scale pushback on Valve for their complete abdication of responsibility in moderating steam forums to every individual developer regardless of whether or not they asked for it, allowing this tumour to completely fester.

they can turn pikmin into cutesy minionslop, I'm cool with that as long as in the next game I can control the entire swarm with the right analog stick from the start, preferably a number greater than 100 and more colors than three at once. if that's not in the cards I really may lose interest

it's hard not to paint the picture that the 16-bit era was a golden age of game development, even when NSO is mainly made up of the odd scraps that no one wants to sell or remake anymore and they've added so many more platforms after all these years they just keep circling back to SNES
