People on the autism spectrum don’t feel empathy? We’re not sociopaths. Try not sleeping all night because of physical worry about a client and then collapsing after a meeting, emotionally drained, as the empathy stress leaves you. Not professional or career or financial worry.

We need to build some real social stigma around being afraid of cities. You don't have to like them or live there, but a politics built this strongly around watching TV and going "ewww" is embarrassing, and people should be embarrassed by it. It's like "fear of werewolves" being your top issue.

I did 2000 hours as an apprentice while going to law school. They were billing at around 400$ an hour for my work. Or about 2 hours work paid my monthly wages. Mr Batty and his partners shafted me on my promised bonus and I never worked Big Law again. Hope he enjoys his Masserattis.

The way I talk is also influenced by being autistic. I recognise that, unless I focus on it, such as during interviews, I can have a flat tone, and talk excessively, often repeating the same phrases, on topics I like, and pretty much not speak at other times. 12/
