Alas, it probably won't. Most of them just get angry that I'm not going to make the exception for them. Even when I'm the opening manager today and haven't had time to get a single register ready.

I've already had to argue with two people today about our store hours.

"ChatGPT said..." I don't care. I've worked at this particular location for 4 years now, why are you arguing with a 2-year supervisor position over what time our store opens because the lying machine told you otherwise?

#furrywriting Conundrum:

Amazon seems to be taboo, itchio is flagging many categories as explicit and hiding shit, other major self-pub IngramSpark charges FEES.

So where the hecc am I supposed to go? I started with Amazon because they're no extraneous fees but I do mostly self-pub... :_(

GenAI has become the One Ring.

You use it because it seems practical. But it only opens you up to the algorithm holders. By the time you've noticed it, it has become your Precious and you can't give it up. But you never will have more power with it than the one who uses your data to feed it.

Medium rare tends to be best. Some underdo it but medium is still okay, the best will actually do medium-rare, and then if it's a little underdone to rare I'll still eat it.
