I really do not like this narrative that the Nazi ideology was "inspired by American racial segregation". I know it has been popularised online by the communist youtuber Three Arrows. But I know where this narrative came from. It was originally the propaganda narrative of the East German regime.

Fascism borrowed very heavily from the United States, esp on ‘racial hygiene’ and political violence. The extreme anti democratic left were always an authoritarian movement with social justice as a justification.
