The US economy has been in a lot more trouble than widely understood for a while. Most economic stats no longer function in the US. Inflation stats are a fiction, gdp + unemployment stats are highly suspect & problematic. As eg households were experiencing inflation rates 3x the official ones.

There is massive discontent with Starmer’s Labour in London. If Labour loses their London stronghold they can’t win a national election. I think it’s all about if the Greens can coalesce discontent around themselves
