Heya everyone! I'm opening up some Faux Stained Glass commissions. Simply pick a size, frame design and your favourite character for me to put into them.

If you have alternative ideas for what a commission can look like then we can also do that as well. Simply DM me to discuss details.

I took a notion to draw a wee comic last night, based on my real-life experience where I felt bad for some sticks.
Comic page. 2 Panels.

Panel 1: Me walking my dog in the woods.

Caption: Not to brag - but I walk my dog, okay/

Caption: We often find ourselves in the local woods.

Panel 2: Me looking at a big stretch of boggy muck.

Caption: There's this one big stretch of boggy muck on the pack we take.

Caption: You're probably thinking that we just shouldn't go this way. Hey you might be right. First time for everything, as they say. Comic page. 1 Panel

Panel 1: Me and the dog walking over the boggy muck, elevated on sticks laid into the dirt.

Caption: Every few weeks, though - someone lays down a very useful series of branches so we can cross with ease.

Caption: That's nice isn't it? Someone taking the time and expending the effort to build a little bridge.

Caption: I often wonder who it is. Perhaps it's more than just one person. That's a comforting thought.

Panel 2: Me looking at a big stretch of boggy muck.

Caption: There's this one big stretch of boggy muck on the pack we take.

Caption: You're probably thinking that we just shouldn't go this way. Hey you might be right. First time for everything, as they say. Comic Page - 1 Panel. Me crossing the sticks, we see all the previous sticks crushed down deep into the dark mud.

Caption: It's funny how guilty I feel when a branch breaks - like I've undone their good work, y'know?

Caption: But within a weeo or two, there's a new set of branches ready to be trodden into the mud.

Caption: It's hard not to think about all those other branches, crushed down deper in the dark with every new layer. Comic Page 2 panels.

Panel 1: Me standing in the woods looking down at the path.

Caption: maybe it's my turn to lay down some branches for the next folk who come this way.

Caption: God knows it wouldn't take long - and I definitely have the time.

Panel 2: Shot of my hands holding the sticks I'd need.

Caption: Nah

Yeah... I think I might need the Roddy on the bottom row. He's just so adorable looking!

Well, of course I had to get in on @madamadamiu.bsky.social adorable Cat au, especially now my favourites have been introduced. I reckon Sky would be the calmest most docile cat until something seriously upsets him, and then he becomes the same Skyfire who yeeted Megatron over a glacier hehe
Transformers fanart featuring Starscream and Skyfire as cats. In the first comic they are eating from their bowls before Starscream comes over and steals all the food from Skyfire's bowl. In the next illustration their owner (Bumblebee, off screen) wonders outloud 'Huh, I wonder where Starscream is' while a contented Skyfire sits on the floor, with Starscream's paws poking from underneath him and meowing to get out. In the second comic Starscream and a cat Megatron are having a fight, before Skyfire steps inbetween them. Skyfire gives an intimidating stare to Megatron, who runs away scared. Leaving Starscream affectionately rubbing himself against Skyfire.

More faux stained glass stuff! And this time it's Batman themed!

(Also if you're interested I am doing faux stained glass commissions atm on: bsky.app/profile/ejst...
Batman fanart done in the style of a stained glass window. Featuring several miniature windows on a stone wall which reference Batmans' rogues, including Joker, Riddler, Two Face, Scarecrow, Penguin on the left hand side, and Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Bane, Mister Freeze and the Mad Hatter on the right hand side. In the middle Batman stands silhouetted against a window, with lightning illuminating him and bats flying past. A window above shows an outline of Gothem City.

Did this person watch Beast Wars all the way through or just stop at series 1?

Still baffled by Jared Leto getting cast in anything. Some actors feel overcast but at least the things they're in make money. You can see why the studio wants to hire them. Jared Leto keeps getting cast but also everything he's in has completely bombed.

I'm back with more faux-stained glass pieces! This time a tribute to the Legend of Zelda and especially Ocarina of Time. Definitely an integral part of my childhood.
Legend of Zelda fanart inspired by Ocarina of Time, Link and Zelda facing opposite sides, framed around them is the Master Sword, the Triforce, with the Sage's Medallions framed in a circle above them and the Sacred Stones below. At the corners are a set of golden celtic swirls. The picture on the left is done as a physical piece with see through colours imitating stained glass, and on the other side is a rendered art print of the picture.

Oh! My boy! He looks so fresh faced and happy!

I think it's cos there were lots of episodes moved around whenever there was something too close to an actual disaster or terrorist attack (though I feel that affected the '00s run more. My poor dad having already printed out some fancy VHS sleeves only to continuously change them)

The cycle of the delivery man (moving back through time but sequentially forward for the reader) dropping seeds, that becomes olive tree (that grows over times but sequentially backwards for readers) was fun.
And can only be done in a comic.

Anyway, this book is for kids, we promise.

I've always loved comic sequences showing timelapses of a single location/view, so I was glad @rikworth.bsky.social wrote one into the Rome book. Was fun-strating trying to figure out some interaction across timelines too, with equivalent characters crossing paths etc. for the observant reader.
4 panel comic sequence showing the same view down a Roman street, progressing backwards in time from the present day, medieval, late, and less-late Roman periods. The same image as previous but with coloured lines connecting the paths of different characters through the scene across time, including a pedestrian, businessman/merchant/patricians, police/soldiers, labourers/plebians (and a cat). In the last panel a man drops a basket of olives, which progressively grows into a large ancient olive tree across the panels.

This illustration was originally done for @thevosboss.bsky.social's TF Big Bang story To Know Love (In All Its Habitats) which is a Snow Queen au. Please do give it a read. It's really fun. But this is probably my favourite picture from the collection. archiveofourown.org/works/420538...

Hey everyone! I'm back with the faux stained glass stuff! Had to do something to honour my favourite pairing and this felt quite fitting.

I'm also gonna count this as my daily entry for @skystarweek.bsky.social I think this just about manages to fit into Stars/Skies as a prompt.
A faux stained picture of the Transformers characters Skyfire and Starscream, framed in a gold, purple and red frame. The two kiss, holding hands. A set of flowers and vines sprout forth from the bottom of the frame.

Oh that looks lovely! And all coloured in by hand as well! Oh wow!
