I've been listening to the new Nation of Language a lot in the last two weeks. It does not have the immediate neo-pop vibe of the last one where every song sounded like it could be a single (think Wolfgang-era Phoenix), but it definitely has a moody, ethereal vibe.

I really like this song.

In May 2023, my story "They Promised Trees" was featured on the podcast. I've always been very fond of this piece was so glad it found a home. The strong narration and perfect mood-setting music and sounds really delivered on the 'promise' of the story.
