“Singularities” by @eggandcressida.bsky.social (Autumn ‘25) “is a story about stories. It’s also a clever use of the multiverse trope.” 😀

Some of us are born with certain gifts, as @devanbarlow.bsky.social shows in the new fantasy story “Dybbuk-Draw.” Don’t we have a responsibility, then, to use those gifts to help?

It’s really hard to keep a magazine going. I can only imagine how hard it is to keep a magazine that’s reliant on subscriptions going.

For every like this gets, I’ll post a Kaleidotrope poem from the archives beginning with the next consecutive letter of the alphabet, beginning with A and ending with Z.

Since all the cool kids are doing it — here's a reminder of the seven new pieces of fiction I published in 2025. "The Touch of an Old Friend's Hand" and "What Am I This Time?" are both novelette length, while the other five are short stories.

ALSO, I didn't start writing this magical city with the novel!

no, first I wrote "Mistempered Weapons," a Lady-Tybalt-Narrated Romeo and Juliet with rival theater companies in a magical city, and you can read THAT in Kaleidotrope for free

got to attend an event that had a reading (streamed online, yay) of "Wilayat in Seven Saints" by Tanvir Ahmed and also had an awesome presentation by @jennahanchey.bsky.social!

absolutely in awe of this piece AND Jenna's presentation, and I'm going to be chewing on both for a good long while!
There is, as it happens, a brand new issue of Kaleidotrope.
