Exactly as I said this morning. They aren’t charging people they are intimidating them and making sure they cannot identify anyone.

WGN, this woman’s employer, is now reporting she was not charged with any crimes and was released.

DHS said earlier she was arrested for assault for throwing objects at agents.

Even though I recognize our country’s democracy is in decline, there are still moments that hit me in the gut and I think “Holy shit. This is real.” The Letitia James indictment was one. More so than the Comey indictment.

Wasn’t there reporting that Republicans and their family members have made similar mistakes on loan forms?

What are the chances that Bill Pulte has given Trump a list of Republicans who have made the same error as Lisa Cook and Letitia James on loan forms and Trump is using that list to extract favors from those people? @nicollewallace.bsky.social

I’m so tired of Trump *saying* he’s doing XYZ and everyone accepting that narrative when it’s all smoke and mirrors. There are ways to lower crime. Democrats know it. Newark did it. Deployment of troops to cities ain’t it. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/02/n...

Relatedly, this @brianbeutler.bsky.social idea of the "median experience of tyranny" is a good way to say that while majorities oppose the lawbreaking/abuses of power, Miller is banking on the middle lacking deep conviction about all of it (as I suggest)

this is an extremely high priority.

“Murdoch Fox” and “Ellison CBS” should be said by every Democratic politician at least once per day.

It's incumbent upon the Democratic Party to educate the public on why CBS news is not to be trusted anymore.

The CBS takeover by Larry Ellison and Bari Weiss is the most foreboding move in a while, and I’m not saying that lightly.

It will have an effect on the 2026 elections: CBS will now lie to people and normies will believe it.

perhaps the biggest story TFPever ran was a catastrophically shoddy argument that George Floyd ackshully died of an overdose. When confronted with irrefutable evidence that the piece was simply wrong, Weiss didn’t take it down, she asked her critic, @radleybalko.bsky.social, to come on a podcast.
