This bug has been on the outside of my office windows for at least a full 24 hours. He's crawling around and stuff but he seems to be stuck there and it's just glass and concrete, nothing for him to eat. I almost feel sorry for him.

In a way it had to have been remembering what it was like when he was not so famous, wasn't making so much money, and the people who were his friends back then.

I find that really easy to admire, even if some of the stuff he did coming up looks not so great today. I think a lot of Americans do.

Jimmy Kimmel is a guy who grew. He went from co-host of "The Man Show" to something of a liberal lion. And he did it by seeing the people working around him, and having a kid who had significant health needs. He realized not everyone would be as fortunate as him if that had happened to them.

1) The admin has been planning mass firings to begin in October since February
2) The work necessary to carry out mass firings is illegal during a shutdown, violating the Antideficiency Act, which carries a criminal penalty

Well, there is a difference. If I tell my therapist, "I tried to finish cleaning my house and I failed at it," my therapist is going to tell me, "That's okay, you can try again later today, or tomorrow. You made progress, and that's good."
