In New Avalon, there is a lot of toys that technically function without magical skill, but are clearly designed to be manipulated with magic, action figures with arcane functions like magic projectile illusions and hop-scotch games with light-drawn lines.

We have a 3-tiered public health system with built in redundancy, because if one tier fails (in this case, the federal level), the other two can step in to protect the health of our people. Good job state and local health departments for stepping in to keep people healthy.
Our state HD sent our local environmental inspectors into all of our county stores to physically pull it off the shelves because a week into the recall, it was still being sold at CVS and Wal-Mart.

There are many ways to fight Nazis, like leaving Substack and subscribing to people who have left Substack.

I am 48, fat, and cannot be arsed to do makeup. I do not want to record videos promoting my books. I have explained this to publishers in exactly these words, but it’s a 50/50 on whether it takes.
