Avinatan and Noa!!!

Noa's story hit particularly hard for me because her mother was dying of the same brain cancer that took my own mom. Noa was rescued in time to have a few weeks with Liora before she died; that was last summer. This is the best possible ending for now.

I have never, ever heard a noise like that made by the father of Segev Kalfon finally seeing and holding him again. Apparently no one knew if he was alive or dead for a year and a half — only in February was he confirmed in the tunnels.

Oh Rue!!! Yes. I’m two or three degrees from three different hostages at least, and it’s been. Such a surreal two years. Others look so much like family, it’s unreal.

I had this reaction there too!!! Such a selling point for the ~universal city, but when we asked, they told us there were only seven or eight Jewish families left. It was 2010 and the streets were full of hateful graffiti because of the flotilla back then.

I tried to stay up last night but couldn't; then I couldn't sleep. Then Gingko needed to go out at 5:30, and I've been up ever since, just inhaling the videos and pictures.

Bar is related to a dear friend of mine. His father learned to walk and talk again after a stroke to welcome him home.
