Here's the Garlic (aka Medulla) nebula in all of its glory. This is a very dim target. I collected about 53 hours of data with 38 of that being spent on the hydrogen. I don't normally post the starless versions of my images but it was just too good not to include.

An astrophotography image of a nebula. It features a supernova remnant that resembles a bulb of garlic in the center. The image is primarily red, due to the high amount of hydrogen in the region, though there are some blue aspects (the representation of oxygen) to the left side of the garlic bulb. This image also contains a very dense star field in it due to the long exposures needed to get sufficient data. An astrophotography image of a nebula. Unlike the other image, this one has had the stars removed to emphasize the nebula itself.
Making a procedural mech rig for my game, small breakdown of the process so far 😃 #indiedev
making some little guys walk around
working on a target selection system! having to make in-cockpit versions of all the HUD elements is an interesting challenge 😅

Really good video, love what you said about play being practice! Thanks for sharing this!

Also entertaining to hear you talking about making boats sail too ⛵️

I woke and felt I wanted to talk about "solodev" as a term.

Why I feel some of the discourse around is overly negative and thus missing what is special about it.

It also dives into a pathway to that personal journey for those wanting to get there.

I love the idea of reclaiming the humanity from shitty AI images ❤️
Hello I’m back, with a mission, to turn AI slop into a labor of love ❤️🧚🧝‍♀️🐝

Hope you all enjoy this piece, I found an AI image on Pinterest and thought the concept deserved better execution. What should I make next? 🤔

Super early look at Kenney Creator, my new modeling software for indies. It'll feature many blocks and tools to create any sort of model - aiming for a Q1 2026 release! ✨

There ain't enough player-versus-terrain games around, so I might be making one.

Happy birthday and welcome to 30s! It’s been my best decade so far, wishing you the same 😊
Definitely 3d! It’s just my comfort zone, I feel like I don’t know how to make 2d look or feel good
I wrote an article on my workflow for building a large open world game as an indie, without any expensive 3rd party assets.

It should be disclaimed that I don't really know anything and am just making it up as I go, but so far it is working for me 😅
