ICE is in the ballpark of twenty to thirty thousand people, we're not talking millions. Some of them are doing relatively mundane things, even things a post-Trump reconstructed government might still reasonably do. It doesn't matter. They're permanently tainted and they're replaceable.

Also: if you work for ICE, even if you’re not one of the ones arresting citizens or tackling 15-year-olds or zip-tying kids together and segregating them by race, you’re part of the mechanism making it happen, and you should suffer long-term social and post-regime-change consequences.

ICE continues its relentless assault on Chicago street vendors. Rapid response teams in Pilsen and Little Village confirmed a street vendor was taken on Cermak and Troy and also on Damen and Cermak. These are on two major Latine commercial corridors.

Today October 10, 2025 at 10:55am we were able to confirm that ICE kidnapped a street vendor on Cermak and Troy in front of the laundry mat. Another street vendor was taken on Damen and Cermak in Pilsen. If you have any more information please call 855-435-7693 or to report any unusual or suspicious activity. Our community is safest when we are informed and organized.

Possibly (guessing) because the authority the prez uses to federalize and deploy NG comes from a different set of laws than deploying other active duty military domestically (10 U.S.C. section 12406 vs Insurrection Act authority which is broader).
